Court Lane Allotments

We have been informed by Birmingham City Council Allotments Team that Witton Allotments had a break-in this week. Locks were cut off sheds with bolt cutters. As far as they know nothing was taken. It was the usual pattern – come in, have a look around, and soon they will be back for the pick up. We have been asked to put all our plotholders on their guard. We always advise plot holders not to leave anything of value in sheds and not to lock them, to deter thieves.

If you do notice anything suspicious, please contact the Police immediately, and let one of the committee know so that we can notify the Allotments Team as soon possible.

By being vigilant, we can all help to keep our allotment site a safer place.
